Nissan Navara NP300 Accessories

At Billcar, in addition to providing customers with MOTs, we supply a range of spare parts and accessories. This may be for a particular repair, or it may simply be to give your car that extra something special. Today, we’re going to focus on the Nissan Navara NP300, so you can find out more about the different accessories that you could get your hands on.

The Nissan Navara

Nissan is a brand of car, recognised the world over. Founded in Japan in 1933, it is famed for its constant innovation, as well as being the biggest producer of electric vehicles.  The NP300 (also known by D23) was manufactured in 1997 as a pick-up truck. It is a third-generation model of the Navara series, which is similar to the D40 model.

Accessories for The Nissan Navara

The Nissan Navara has many different accessories which can add to your experience of this vehicle that is already packed with various features. Some of the following accessories could offer you that something extra: airbag-safe waterproof seat covers, cattle rails, LED lighting for a tow bar, and more. You may consider a bonnet guard, which uses UV-stabilised acrylic to protection paint and bodywork from stone chips. For aesthetic reasons, rather than practical, there’s also the option to get a custom-made headlamp trim, which can be easily installed without any drilling needed. Another example of an optional accessory is a set of fender flares. These can protect your paint from damage, and give your Nissan Navara a particularly rugged look.

Accessories at Billcar

At Billcar, we currently stock a lower radiator hose (2016) and a set of genuine front brake pads (2017) for the Nissan Navara. Radiator hoses are recommended to be replaced every four years, but this also depends on the usage. Your MOT should reveal whether this is something you need to consider. When it comes to brake pads, it is necessary to replace them once the pad friction material has worn down to a thickness of 3 millimetres. It is also required to check the brake disc thickness is at least at the safe minimum set out in the manufacturer’s specification, or otherwise, replace them.
